Harriet Tubman will be the new face of the $20 bill.

Tubman will replace former President Andrew Jackson on the note. The announcement comes after the Obama administration said it had planned to put a woman on the $10 bill, which would have replaced Alexander Hamilton.

Tubman, a Civil War-era abolitionist who helped rescue slaves using the Underground Railroad, will be the third ever woman on an American bill. Martha Washington briefly appeared on a one-dollar note and Pocahontas on the $20 bill, both in the 1800s.
