American star Jason Derulo for the first time made a press conference in Nairobi in an evening press conference organised by Coke Studio Africa. The star was in company of African Stars, including Uganda’s Bebe Cool, South Africa’s Dj Maphorisa and Tanzania’s Rayvanny. Other artistes include our own Dela Maranga, Nigeria’s Falz, Ghana’s Joey B, Betty G from Ethiopia, Cameroon’s Locko, Mr. Bow from Mozambique, South Africa’s Shekhinah and Zimbabwe’s Jah Prayzah.

This year’s show brings together Coke Studio Africa and Coke Studio South Africa to make Coke Studio Africa. The artistes spoke about their experiences in Nairobi, with some giving us a taste of their very different cultures (Ethiopia’s Betty G had to illustrate how they dance).

Tanzania’s Rayvanny,  who has been nominated in this year’s BET Awards took the platform to request for guys to vote for him. Here is how it all went down.
