Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has identified Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin as one of his top targets as he looks to revamp the seemingly aging City back-line.
Bacary Sagna,Pablo Zabaleta,Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov are all past 30 years and Pep is set to replace them with four young, energetic full-backs with Bellerin top of his list.
Also top on his £150M January transfer wishlist are Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.
Aubameyang is seen by Pep as a steady back-up option for Sergio Aguero given his pace and finishing ability.
The former Barcelona coach, who spent £175M this summer,is set to receive the much needed funds from the Manchester City hierarchy as he looks to build on a squad well-acquainted with his high-tempo style of play.
That said,Arsenal hope to retain the services of Hector Bellerin with reports of a new five-year contract worth £100,000 on the table.
Sources however claim that the £40M rated right-back would prefer to be re-united with Guardiola who has an impressive record of bagging trophies.
Likewise,Juventus have offered Bonucci a new contract in order to ward off interest from Manchester City and Chelsea.
They are keen to keep him in Serie A and will only listen to offers in the region of £60M.
