Kenyan German based model Nicole Atieno, moved to Germany 5 years ago with her mother, a former model, and the rest is history from there.
She applied for the popular Germany’s next top model competition just for fun and managed to secure a position in the top 20.The exposure from the competition earned her a contract on the spot from renowned model agent Alexander Kern. The beautiful Nicole stands at an amazing 5.9″ and she is only 18 years old.
She has been booked thrice by Gucci which has been in operation for only 2 years in Germany. This feat has only ever been achieved by Naomi Campbell who is Atieno’s inspiration. Gucci’s chief designer Alessandro Michele is said to be completely awed by Nicole and has booked her for 2 campaigns in addition to the runway shows. Other major labels that have taken note of the Kenyan beauty include Prada, Bottega Veneta and Just Cavalli.
