Bandari FC players led by their captain Wilson Oburu in an early morning physical fitness training at the sea shore of the Jomo Kenyatta Public beach ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary match against St. Eloi Lupopo of DRC Congo, January 27, 2016. The players are changing their training camp to Nairobi this week ahead of their match next month. Bandari will not be under any pressure when they host Gor Mahia in a pre-season Super Cup match at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday. Coach Twahir Muhiddin of Bandari said he is ready for the Sportpesa Premier League champions and will take the match like any other tie. “Our intensive preparation has been for our Caf Confederation Cup match against St Eloi Lupopo of DRC on February 13. I have told my players to play cautiously on Saturday to avoid injuries,” said Muhiddin in an interview. Muhiddin said the three friendly matches they played against teams in Nairobi was a morale booster as they helped him rectify a few mistakes. Last week, Bandari were in Nairobi and left undefeated after playing three matches. They drew 2-2 with Posta Rangers and 1-1 with Thika United. The coastal boys registered a 1-0 win over Wazito at Ruaraka grounds. The team returned to Mombasa on Sunday and took a day’s rest yesterday before resuming their training yesterday at Mbaraki Sports Club
