Bobbi Kristina, the only child of the iconic singer, Whitney Houston and R&B legend Bobby Brown, died on July 26 2015, almost six months after she was discovered unconscious in her bathtub.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” the Houston family said in a statement. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Bobbi’s sunset months were filled by family disagreements on whether to take her off her meds and accusations on some members eyeing on her inheritance. She was the sole heir of Whitney’s estate estimated to be worth over $100 million.

Her death draws disturbing parallels to her mother’s who was also found unconscious in her bathtub after a cocaine overdose. Though the exact cause of Bobbi’s death is yet to be determined, drugs and heart failure are said to be contributing factors. Like her mother, she struggled with addictions and an on and off relationship with Nick Gordon who she was reportedly slated to marry next month.

After being transferred to the Emory University Hospital, she was taken to Peachtree Christian Hospice where she spent her final days until she finally passed away on Sunday afternoon.
