Selah Wanjala caught everyone’s attention in May this year after he clung onto a moving helicopter which saw him earn the title ‘James Bond’.

It was a stunt that saw the 41-year old flown to Nairobi on Monday by business man Joseph Lendrix Waswa making him achieve his dream of boarding a plane.

The business man is also said to have bailed out Mr.Wanjala who was accused of endangering his life and that of the pilot at a Bungoma court.

He was given a grand reception on arrival at the JKIA in the company of his mother and wife.

They were driven to Waswa’s Lavington home for a luncheon in a motorcade comprising of a Mercedes-Benz and a Bentley among other posh vehicles.

Waswa likened Wanjala to a hero whose actions “could only be seen in movies.”

“I am doing it to award his rare bravery act that is a seldom accomplishment on earth apart from the Hollywood fiction movies.”
