The All About that Bass singer and the Spy Kids actor recently announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple who tied the knot in 2018, revealed the news while on The Today Show.

“I’m very good as you can tell — it’s all Christmas here. But there’s other news that I’m dying to tell you and my heart’s pounding out of my chest,” the singer said before her husband revealed the news. “We’re pregnant,” said Daryl proudly.

Kelly Rowland, the former Destiny Child singer, is not new to matters relating to pregnancy. The 39-year-old superstar has visited the maternity room before and it seems she’s not done yet. While appearing as the cover for the recent issue of Women’s Health, the singer revealed her baby bump.

“We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, ‘Let’s see what happens,’” Rowland told the magazine. The singer managed to get pregnant right away and she doesn’t take it for granted.

Despite the pregnancy, she pledged to deliver on her music that fans were waiting for. “ I was thinking, ‘Oh my god, my fans are gonna be so disappointed…They wanted an album first, but they got a baby!'” she told Women’s Health. “And I was like, ‘I have to figure this out so they get both.'”

Remy is set to give birth to her second child with rapper Papoose. The couple who already have a young daughter revealed the news in June 2020 on an interview with Claudia Jordan on Fox Soul’s Out Loud. When asked about how he and his family were fairing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Papoose, 42, shared that there was “some good coming out of this.” “I love being with my family,” he said. “I get to spend so much time with my amazing wife and my amazing daughter. I’m just making the best out of it, and we’re moving forward.”


“We’re going to have another child real soon,” Remy announced, while Jordan joked in response, “A lot of quarantine babies are probably going to be born.”
