The KICC was the place to be last Saturday where a majority of reggae fans attended the much-awaited Chronixx Live In Concert gig.
Avid reggae lovers from all walks of life turned up in large numbers to share in a night that was full of good,reggae vibes.
The event was well-organised right from the entrance to the venue itself.The stage in particular was well positioned such that both the regular and VIP ticket holders had a perfect view of it.
A number of renowned Kenyan reggae emcees and deejays charged up the crowd prior to the Jamaican artist’s performance.The likes of Kriss Darlin & Dohty Family, Zj Heno & Empire Sounds,Fyah Mummah Jahmby & Selector Technics and MC Philipo sampled the best in reggae and roots much to the already animated fans.
Also in attendance were a couple of local celebrities and media personalities who included Sauti Sol,H Art The Band,Femi One,Shaniqwa,Dj Moh,Dj Juan and Budha Blaze.
Chronixx later showed up in his ever calm composure at around 12.20 a.m. and treated his fans to a two-hour non-stop performance while backed up by the ZincFence Redemption band.
Guys jammed to some of his popular hits such as Smile Jamaica,Here Comes Trouble,Access Granted,Ain’t No Giving In among others.
His performance was nothing short of spectacular as he truly lived up to its hype.
