It all started with an article on GOAL.COM claiming  Harambee Stars former captain Dennis Oliech was going broke and was selling his properties to keep himself afloat while languishing with ‘his boys’ in Dagoretti.

Oliech has come out guns blazing and denied rumors that he’s going broke in an exclusive interview on Supersport,

It’s totally absurd and ironical that visiting Dagoretti ( a Nairobi slum) is now referred to as being broke. I was born and bred in Dagoretti and throughout my career I have continued visiting and will never stop visiting the place. I hear some people saying Oliech sold a house because he was broke and I laugh because as a businessman when you buy a house at Kshs 30M and you get an offer of Kshs 50M what do you do?
