According to recent reports, Bongo star Diamond Platnumz has a fifth child who is his firstborn that he’s never seen. The said child is seven years old and is one whose mother he lost contact with.
This is the fifth child, counting the two he has with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, the one he has with Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto and the one yet to be born by his current girlfriend, Kenyan radio presenter Tanasha Donna.
He revealed that he sired the unknown child back in Mwanza when he was still an upcoming artiste. This was around the time he had started dating Bongo actress Wema Sepetu. He goes on to say that he thereafter lost contact with the child’s mother and any efforts to find her or the child have proved futile.
“So far nina watoto watatu ijapokuwa naweza nikawa na watoto wanne kwa sababu nina mtoto wangu alikuaga Mwanza, mamake hakunipaga.
“Ni zamani kidogo nafikiri kipindi kile kile naanzana na Wema,” Diamond revealed to poet, singer and Vlogger Mrisho Mpoto on his Kaa Hapa channel.
Diamond then goes on the reveal that though he has never seen the child, he is made to understand that he is in Japan. He says he once met the mother and asked her to allow him to meet their child but she mentioned that they were headed to Japan.
“Kuna siku nilikutana naye, nilikuwa niko Mwanza nikamwambia basi mlete mwanangu nimwone, nikaambiwa amepelekwa Japan sijui na bibi yake. Kwa hiyo huyo ndiye anayetakiwa kuwa first born wangu, sasa hivi anatakiwa awe na miaka saba.”
This news of a missing firstborn child comes just days after Diamond heavily denied claims that he is cheating on his pregnant girlfriend Tanasha with Lulu Diva. Diamond was reportedly caught on tape getting cosy with Lulu during his DJ’s Rommy Jones album launch in Dar es Salaam.
