The rap beef brewing between rappers Drake and Meek Mill is far from over, but now some are wondering if Meek is planning to take things from musical to physical.

It all started when a video of Meek previewing a song from his upcoming album, Dreamchasers 4, made it to the interwebs. In the vid, Meek raps, “I can’t wait until we run into ya/ Ima put a gun in ya”. Immediately, fans thought the emcee was talking about his rival.

But it doesn’t appear that Drake will have to don a bullet-proof vest in the eventuality he runs into Meek… since Meek said the lyric wasn’t about him. Meek wasn’t referring to his lyricist arch nemesis — or anyone in particular for that matter. The lyric was just that. A lyric.

Meek is doing his absolute best to stay on the right side of the law due to his probation violation, which has the rapper doing community service on New Year’s Eve (December 31) instead of performing with his lady love, Nicki Minaj, when 2016 rolls in.
