Kenya’s top secondary school football teams Bukembe and Barding have made it into the quarter finals of the East African Secondary School games. The games are currently going on at Hill School Grounds in Eldoret.

This has raised our hopes to win the title for the region. Barding beat Ugandan champions SS Kibuli 1-0 to and booked their way into the top of the pool.

Bukembe beat Rwanda’s College Gisenyii 2-1. In spite of St John’s Kaloleni drawing with Masaka of Uganda at the games yesterday, the qualified for the quarter finals.
