Elani are one the fastest rising acts to curve a niche in the ever competitive Kenyan mainstream music.They blew up at a time when Afro pop was and still is owned by popular band Sautisol.They went on to produce hits after hits with some becoming popular with just audio releases.
During their latest performance at Concur d’elegance the Kookoo singers debuted a song which they collaborated with fast rising rapper Octopizzo.The rapper could not attend since he’s still on his Europe tour. He however performed through Skype and the fans couldn’t get enough of it.
Elani haven’t revealed the release date for the jam but the excitement and anticipation is there, of course we want to see what happens when hip hop meets Afro pop. Don’t you? Here is a snippet of the song.
