Today morning at about 11:00 am, barely three hours after landing in Nairobi, King Kiba himself sat down for a press briefing .The Insyder team were there to bring you all the juicy details. He starts by explaining why he was so exhausted emphasizing on the fact that he had just recently arrived from LA where he was shooting his video for his “Nagharamia.” single .The video was released yesterday but will be officially released in Kenya today.

Kenyans are waiting with baited breath to watch the king of bongo perform at one of the most anticipated events this quarter, The Capital FM Koroga Festival. The musical and lifestyle extravaganza will be happening this Sunday 15th  at Arboretum grounds. This will be the ninth Koroga festival. The much anticipated event is set to pull huge crowds with families, music enthusiasts and foodies coming together for a fun filled day.

Alikiba stressed that this will be his first performance backed by a live band in Kenya.

Further explaining why this show will be out of the world he said…”Saa zile naskia instruments za live band…me huchizika…so msijali mkiona nimechizika…I want to give you the best show”

Something else that is going to interest fans is the dancing competition that will happen after his performance. Revelers will be asked to get onto stage and give their best rendition of the Cheka Cheketua dance.

When asked who he would love to work with locally a part from Sauti sol, Alikiba shyly expressed an interest in working more with Victoria Kimani and Wangechi.. Something y’all didn’t know….he loves cooking and his favorite meal to prepare is chicken and rice.




Oh and if The King had not blessed us with his amazing music he would have loved to be a footballer.
