Kangaru vs St GeorgesToday is going to be fire!! It’s the last day of the pool stages and it’s do or die for so many teams. First off Bush clash with Uppah in a match that could decide if the former take the bus to Kikuyu Town this afternoon. That said, Bush are stuck between a rock and the Great Rift Valley coz they need to beat the defending national champs Uppah by a huge margin, and hope Wajir keep their loss very close to Maseno. Something that would appear like an impossible task, especially when you consider that Maseno are playing the Pool B whipping boys Wajir…

BBall Boys Day 2From the look of things, it appears that both Uppah and Maseno will qualify from Pool B. Uppah have already qualified by virtue of beating both Maseno and Wajir, while Maseno just need to defeat Wajir to ensure a semi final place.

In Pool A things are a bit trickier. Kapee are already assured of a semi final spot, after defeating both St. George’s and Kathungi. Their challenger in the group, host team Menangai are also cruising, having crushed Kathungi 64 – 41 yesterday. The battle today will be between Menangai and Kapee, in a match that will determine the Pool A winner. Winning this pool is important because the 2nd placed team will get to meet the dreaded Uppah.
