The queen of Gengetone, arguably one of the best femcee rappers in the game currently, Ssaru, has hit the headlines after a misunderstanding with her manager. Fans noticed that something was off after the rapper’s Youtube account was pulled down together with all her songs. In a rather coincidental way, this has happened the same week young rapper Trio Mio’s mother exposed Wilkins Fadhili (the manager) for conning the young artiste over 100,000 shillings.
Ssaru’s manager, whom we understand to be Kennedy Oluchi got into a misunderstanding with the rapper and pulled down the rappers over 78,000 subscribers Youtube channel. A close source has also disclosed that the manager is demanding over 1.5 million shillings from the rapper before restoring the account. In a conversation with Nairobi Gossip Club, the source disclosed:
“Anasema anamdai. But figure anasema hata haimake sense. Plus Ssaru amekuja kurealize that the manager amekuwa anamkulia doo yake. Anasema 1.5 million na kulingana na hesabu za Ssaru he owes her more than the exact figure yeye anafaa kumdai.”
The source has also made claims that the misunderstanding between the rapper and her manager almost turned violent when the manager tried running her over with his car. The rapper is understood to have tried to reach out to the manager several times for a quiet and peaceful settlement, but the manager has been unreachable. The rapper has since dismissed him as her manager.

Netizens reacting to the story, however have also raised another perspective to the whole scenario claiming that it might be a publicity stunt for a yet to be released song. However, we’ll keep on wishing the young rapper all the best as we await an official statement from her or her team. The manager hasn’t also issued any official statement in regards to the incident.
