Gachaga. Ya’ll best keep this name in your minds; for it is one that will be heard for years to come.

Kellie Gachaga,16, is the youngest player in Kenya to win the Kenya Ladies Open Championship in March this year.

With this victory the talented teenie becomes the youngest top amateur golfer in the country! How epic is that?

Kellie was ranked 2nd girl & 8th overall in the African Trophy category at the R&A Junior Championships

But hold up; that is not all, she has a younger sister, Jaimee, who is making waves in the golfing world too.

Jaimee,11, has won a couple of golf tournaments and is looking forward to doing just as well as her older sister.

The two sisters come from a golfing family. They are coached by their father, Alfred Gachaga, a memeber of Muthaiga Golf ClubTheir mother, Georgina Gachaga, also plays a huge role in their golfing career. She supports them at tournaments whenever she has the chance.

I think it is time that we called them the Venus and Serena Williams of Kenya. Only they play golf and not tennis 🙂

Watch out for this amazing duo.
