The Insyder & Coca-Cola kickoff the IFC (Insyder Football Cup), a straight, 1v1 FIFA 17 knock-out tournament where the overall winner will take home 20k in cash! The rules of the tournament are as simple as the 4-2-2 formation:

2. Tournament Style – FIFA 17’s 1v1 mode, straight knock out, best of 2 games
3. Match Duration – 4 minutes (8 minutes per half)
4. General Rules
a. Game Mode: Kick off (Online Rosters)
b. Difficulty: World Class
c. Stadium: Any
d. Match Conditions: Clear and Sunny
5. Teams
- Any current FIFA 17 Club (Pro or semi pro)
- International teams and rosters are allowed, but no classic XI (ex: no All-Star, Legends, Womens, celebrity, or mascot teams may be used)
6. Games
- No warm-up or practice Games are permitted once the first tournament match has begun
- Players may not use any custom teams or players for this competition.
7. Pausing
- A player may utilize the pause feature for no longer than a minute.
- When the ball has gone out of play, or a penalty has been called, the player WITH POSSESSION may elect to pause the game.
8. Overtime
In the event of an overtime use classic mode. If at the end of classic mode over time (which goes until the 120th minute) the game is still tied, you then restart the match now playing golden goal rules under the normal default ruleset (first team to score whens). Continue restarting the match until one team scores and wins according to golden goal
9. Abusing In-Game Mechanics – Abusing in game mechanics will result in the loss of that game.
10. Lack of Cooperation & Abusive Language – Failing to comply with the activation crew directions and/or requests may result in the forfeit of round(s), a map, or the entire match. Absolutely no abusive language or curse words allowed!
11. Prizes – there will be prizes at the mall competitions and cash prizes at the main event on December 16th at Lavington Secondary School as follows;
- All Mall Events – Headphones, Hoodies and T-shirts
- Final Event: Winner – 25,000/=, 1st Runners Up – 15,000/= and 2nd Runners Up – 10,000/=
12. Tournament Dates – All pre-final tournaments will be held before Saturday, December 16th. During the pre-final tournaments, the Top 3 players will qualify for the final event.
