The former Mother-in-Law actress Catherine Kamau, popularly known as Kate Actress left the internet in stitches after revealing the reason why she attended two high schools during her student days. The actress started her high school studies at Chogoria Girls High School but ended up sitting for her KCSE examinations at Loreto Convent Msongari. During a recent interview, she decided to tell her story and answer the question many have been asking, how did she end up at Msongari? Well the answer is, she was expelled from Chogoria Girls High School.
Kate Actress revealed that she was expelled after she was caught mimicking the then principal of Chogoria, Mrs Riungu. “In Form Three, I was expelled because of acting. It was at 4am and I was bored in class. So our headmistress used to cover herself with a blanket as she went around the school so that in case she found anyone sleeping, she would send them home. I also woke up one day with a blanket and decided to imitate her and she was very mad,” narrated Kate. What was meant to be a mere high school joke quickly escalated into an expulsion case.

She clearly recalls Mrs. Riungu telling her mum that there was no way the school would have two principals, one had to leave! To her utter disbelief, the principal was not willing to consider the thought of her acting being a mere joke. “That is how I had to leave,” sarcastically concludes Kate Actress. After leaving Chogoria, Kate Actress was lucky enough to get an admission at Loreto Convent Msongari where she sat for her KCSE exams.
