East African superstar Diamond Platnumz has just released a new song, and it is different from most of his previous hits.
The award winning artist has taken quite a controversial route with the track dubbed Acha nikae kimya. The song is tackling paramount issues which have been plaguing Tanzanian artists. Over the past few months quite a number of Tanzanian artists have been arrested and detained in relation to illegal drug use.
The slow tempo song has lots of feels and using his sultry voice, Diamond is questioning the motives of the Tanzanian government. He is also advocating for peace and unity in the song.
Diamond is not known to take such stances when it comes to his music, maybe this time he feels that enough is enough. Listen to the song below and view your opinion on it.
