Today marks the second last day of the Term 2B national ball games going down in Kisumu city.

The games which opened on Monday with over 40 teams have now been reduced to 14 teams. They are are Passenga, Bukembe, Laiser, Wiyeta, Nyakach, Malava, Teru, Cheptil, Sengera, Lungulu, AIC Kosirai, Sega and Soweto teams.

The Boy’s football see Passenga and Barding fighting for a chance to beat Bukembe or Laiser in the finals tomorrow.

Here are some of the results from today’s games

Wiyeta beat Nyakach 2-0 while Nginda were edged out by St. John 6-5. In the girl’s volleyball, Soweto and Kosirai sailed into the finals by beating Sega and Lugulu respectively.

Barding reigned over Passeng by beating them 2-0 to make it to the finals. They will be meeting Laiser Hill who managed to kick out Bukembe with an exciting 3-2 score at the final whistle.

The boys volleyball semis saw Cheptil sail into the finals with a 30-nill win over Sengera. They will meet Malava who beat Tetu 3-0
