Women in power were once very rare, but in recent years, there has been a big twist in trends. She is the cabinet secretary, ministry of devolution and planning and is responsible for Women’s empowerment and youth affairs. She has an academic background experience in economics and public policy
She holds a Masters degree in Economic Policy from the University of Nairobi, and, has specialized experience in public finance, financial management systems, public service reform and capacity building, and, governance.
She has been among the Top 40 under 40 women and has even gone ahead to score quite lucrative jobs in the public service
Over time she has proved that Kenyan women can have the chance to bring about positive change. Quite the role model she inspires a sense of success in many young ladies in leadership who would love to be in her position someday soon
