According to reports from Brazil, Manchester United have made a stunning £140m bid for the Barca forward, Neymar.

Reds manager Louis van Gaal said he wants to add ‘speed and creativity’ up front and name checked Neymar as a player who is a different ‘class’ from United’s other creative players. It’s been no secret that United is need of a striker seeing as Rooney has been misfiring of late and they failed to nail Pedro who was stolen right of their noses by Chelsea.

Enrique, Barca’s coach was vague when asked about the matter.

“Talking about Neymar and other clubs doesn’t interest me,” Enrique said after Barcelona’s narrow 1-0 win at Athletic Bilbao on Sunday. “I don’t talk about rumours.

“I focus on what happens in my team.”

If the transfer does happen, it will greatly bolster Man’s attack and although Neymar does not seem uncomfortable playing at Barca, he could as well welcome this move since it’s apparent he’ll never be Barca’s main man.
