The beef between top female rappers Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma has been going on for some time. But things escalated to some unimaginable heights weeks ago when Remy Ma did shETHER, a diss track aimed at Nicki Minaj. She tore into Nicki, her plastic surgery, alleged that she uses ghostwriters and a whole bunch of other allegations that got her on everyone’s lips. Two weeks ago she did another diss track called, “Another One’, though this time she didn’t nail it like the first time. Fans tore into her saying that it was crap. All that time, Nicki was in Paris, having some good time, attending fashion shows with one of her boobs out (I love Nicki, don’t tell her I said the above ??).
Well, we thought it was over. Especially when somewhere this week, Remy Ma declared the beef over, adding that she didn’t regret what she did, though she didn’t love how people cheered them on. Speaking in a radio interview she said, “I don’t regret it, but I’m not particularly proud of it. I just think it’s crazy the way people celebrate women attacking each other as opposed to working together. As women, sometimes, we don’t see the value in us working together,” before adding “It just bothers me that, this record [‘shETHER’] that I put out, where it’s literally picking apart a female, went so viral. We could have done the same thing working together. I would have liked it so much better that way.”
Well, Nicki wasn’t sleeping as it has turned out. She posted on her social media pages that she has three songs that she called #3PackFromParis. The first one is already out featuring Drake and Lil Wayne and already she’s done some damage to Remy. “You can’t be Pablo if your work ain’t sellin’/ What the fuck is this bitch inhalin’?/ I would’ve helped you out that pit you fell in/I am the generous Queen! Ask Ms. Ellen/ Tried to drop ‘Another One,’ you was itchin’ to scrap/ You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish you were scrapped,” she goes.
The song is hard-hitting, with some paining facts that you can only imagine what it feels to be the target. If Remy Ma decides to get back and reply, this one is surely going to be a mouth-watering contest.
