Citing lack of proper direction from his client, top advocate Cliff Ombeta has said he will be no longer represent James Ng’ang’a who’s four counts including causing the death of a woman named Mercy Njeri along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway, when his Range Rover collided with an oncoming car.

Speaking to Nairobi News after his withdrawal Cliff said, ‘Yes I have and also the third accused. They have not given me further and better instructions thus leaving me in a grey position to work from.’

This come right after senior resident magistrate Timothy Tanchu declined to grant the police a request to have Pastor Ng’ang’a submit DNA samples for a probe into the fatal accident saying that all evidence should have been gathered before the case.

What’s the real reason that his lawyer quit, though?
