With just few days to the close of transfer window, teams are hurrying up to bolster their squad and do business before deadline day. Barcelona’s forward Pedro finds himself in a difficult position after denying claims by the club’s technical secretary that he wants to leave Nou Camp.

“The sports director says I said I want out? He shouldn’t say that, I barely talked with him,” Pedro said.
“I talked with the president and others. This is a difficult situation for me; of course I wanted to start. I don’t know what will happen, but I will always be a Barça fan.

“Do I want to leave? The answer is ‘no’, but my situation is difficult. It’s not about money, but about more playing time.”
This comes after the Pedro came off the bench to score the winner for Barcelona’s Uefa Super Cup victory. Van Gaal after releasing Van Persie and Di’Maria has been keen to sign Pedro to add speed and creativity to their side.

However he has stated that if he leaves, he would leave with his head held up, hinting of his consideration to join Manchester United who have been told would have to cough up 30million Euros to trigger his release clause. Barcelona is bent on keeping him and has told Manchester United the fee is not negotiable.
