Sauti Sol have time and again put Kenya on the global map. From BET to MAMA nominations, these lads have proven that they are a gift that keeps on giving. You’ll also recall their recent lipala dance with Uncle Barry himself, Bien’s enthusiasm notwithstanding.

In yet another first, the boy band was recently named by Switzerland customer magazine Credit Suisse as one of Africa’s 50 most important personalities drawn from the worlds of culture, business, politics, sports and society. They were listed alongside other influential personalities such as Equity CEO James Mwangi, Lupita Nyongo, Ory Okolloh, Wole Soyinkah, Didier Drogba, Aliko Dangote, Kanda Bongo Man and others.

Congrats to the quartet, hope they keep on their pursuit for global glory.
