Details that led to the death of popular Kenyan rapper Shrekeezy have began to surface. Here is the last post from his Instagram account before he mysteriously disappeared only to be found dead.
“The boat ride from #WhiteSandsHotel to #MbudyaIsland is the scariest thing I’ve experienced in a long time. But we here… #TanzaniaDay8.”
An eye witness reveals that Shrekeezy was swimming on a dangerous deep section of the ocean characterized by strong waves, he was unable to tread water for long and started drowning, white lady tried to help him but couldn’t, she narrated later that the Rapper held her shoulders and almost drowned them both. By the time the rescue team came to them only the lady was saved.
Simon Njoroge, popularly known as Shrekeezy, was a Kenyan advertising strategist. He has also been largely involved in art and entertainment as a radio host, TV presenter, rapper, DJ and Entertainment Executive .He first gained major attention for his successful online radio show Shrekeezy Live which was later taken up as a daily radio show on Hero Radio Kenya after gaining over 40,000 fans on social media.
He was set to release a music video Down For My City featuring some the best artists across Africa including Zambia’s Roberto, Nigeria’s Wondaboy, Kenya’s STL and Kanja,Silverstone and Juliet Ibrahim.
