Harambee Stars latest defeats to Guinea Bissau in last month’s 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers has cost them as they’ve plunged further in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
That poor performance has seen Kenya ranked at position 115 down from 103.Stars were beaten 1-0 in both legs that were played on the 23rd and 27th of March.
Those two wins for Guinea Bissau see them at position 102 up from 147,which makes them the highest climbers worldwide.
Algeria lead the way in Africa followed closely by Ivory Coast,Ghana,Senegal and Egypt.
It is the hope of many that things will take a turn for the better especially with the latest appointment of former Nigerian International Augustine ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha to replace troubled Harambee Stars coach,Stanley Okumbi.
