Just a few hours ago, at around midday, Strathmore University experienced a terror attack. Everything happened so fast and students started scrambling all over the campus. The whole compound was filled with panic.
But wait…
It was just a drill !
Police used this as a measure to test if the campus’ security team are up to date with the latest security measures when handling a terror attack !
This is probably the first time this has happened in Kenya. As much as it sent people into a panic with a few injuries, it is a positive step towards tightening our security as a country
