The youth have always been considered the leaders of tomorrow. However, some have taken the opportunity and stood up to change this theory. They have changed the tempo of conversations and set a precedent not seen before. Earning themselves the titles of visionaries and leaders at a young age is no easy feat but they have done it. We take a look at some young people who have taken the public by storm.

She came to fame in 2016 for Ocean Eyes, a song that she uploaded on Soundcloud and immediately went viral. Being a mere 18-year-old, she has won several accolades that make her envy for many. Her trophy case contains; 5 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 2 Guinness World Records, 3 MTV Video Music Awards and 1 Brit award. Eilish has lit the way for the upcoming Gen Z to take over and dominate where they should have for a long time.

He has been described as the future of football. with the agility of a sprinter and a master of his trickeries, the 19-year-old has dominated the headlines for a while now. He has completely changed the perception of the youth in sports as he led the BVB to an outstanding win against Psg and becoming the second teenager in UCL history to score 10 goals. Ven has many clubs look up to him to bolster their squads, he will undoubtedly be the next Messi-Ronaldo of this generation.

The fight against climate change took a new direction when young Greta Thunberg began organizing demonstrations in her hometown each Friday. The protests now dubbed Green Fridays have grown and become a worldwide phenomenon. Due to her unrelenting actions, she has earned numerous opportunities to continue the push for climate change. She even at one time took world leaders on and blamed them for the devastation that climate change has inflicted on the earth. Vowing not to relent until the world is free of climate change, her fame and push will only grow as the years go by.
No matter how much you think that you can not make a big impact, the small things do matter. You might even eventually gain the ability to change your world cause the present and the future belong to the youth
