Deontay Wilder, popularly called the Bronze Bomber, comes head-to-head with Tyson Fury aka The Gypsy King once again in a thrilling encounter. Dubbed the Unfinished Business, the rematch seeks to put the heated feud between the duo in the past and prove who is best.
The first match between the two undefeated and successful boxers took place over a year ago. The match, coming on the heels of a series of confrontations, ended in a controversial split draw of 113 -113. The match that lasted 12 rounds created too much hype that prompted the organizers and promoters to announce almost immediately that a rematch would take place soon.
With the WBC, The Ring and Lineal heavyweight titles on the line, both parties agreed to stage a rematch to determine who becomes the new unified champion. Tyson who used to hold the Ring and Lineal titles seeks to gain the WBC Heavyweight title that has evaded him all his life. Wilder, on the other hand, wants to establish his name as one of the greatest and longest-reigning champions.
Kicking off between 7and 8 Am EAT, the match will seek to out shadow the hype that came from the McGregor–Mayweather bout years ago. With the high-flying punches and knockouts that are part and parcel of boxing, expect the two to put in a great show.
The winner of the bout, if there will be any, will get a chance to square up with Anthony Joshua who holds the WBA ‘super” IBF and WBO titles. With both fighters having called-out the boxer in the past, who will get the golden chance to win these tremendous titles and cement their name in boxing history? Or are we going to wait for the third match to finalize this feud that has run for long?
