In what was a frustrating night for Jacob “Ghost” Mulee’s Harambee Stars, some players however caught the eyes of Kenyans. Comoros earned a had fought one point after the match ended on a 1-1 draw. Comoros were forced to play a defensive front in the second half after going down 10 men in the first half. Harambee Stars will be travelling to Comoros for the second tie on Sunday in a bid to secure an AFCON spot in their group. Here are some of the players who had a spectacular performance at Kasarani yesterday:
Masoud Juma

The striker who was the front man after Michael Olunga was ruled out of the tie scored a bicycle kick to earn Kenya a point. Juma struggled especially in the first half before getting his foot in the second half. His pace was a headache for the Comoros defense and that’s one advantage he will be carrying with him to the second tie.
David Owino

David Owino terrorized the wings yesterday as the defenders couldn’t keep up with his pace and agility on and off the ball. He was involved in the buildup to the attack that ultimately led to the goal. The Zesco United star will be looking to cement his position in the team after being left out of the previous squads by the previous coaches.
Brian Mandela

The Absa Premiership defender gave a solid performance at the back, representing absentee Joash Onyango perfectly well. He also played some really nice progressive passes from the back which helped the attack. The center back who currently plays for Mamelodi Sundowns put up a performance that deserves an applause.
Victor Wanyama

The former Tottenham maestro and Harambee Stars skipper had a first half to quickly forget at Kasarani. His performance in the first half was quite wanting and he even gave away a free kick that resulted in a Comoros goal. However, getting into the second half, he put up a decent display and created a couple of scoring opportunities.
