Manchester United have sacked Louis Van Gaal just two days after he led United to FA Cup glory with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Van Gaal was relieved off his duties this morning by executive Vice-chairman Ed Woodward together with his entire Dutch coaching staff.
The one time Barcelona coach has been made to pay for the team’s terrible Premier League campaign that included failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

United will however give him a £5 million pay-off on top of £400,000 for winning the FA Cup.
The club is expected to make an official statement on Tuesday regarding the appointment of Jose Mourinho as LVG’s successor.

The former Chelsea boss is set to sign a 3-year deal with his long-term assistant Rui Faria and goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro expected to follow.
