Tottenham midfielder has been named as the best signing of the summer, according to ‘Yahoo Sports

The Kenyan midfielder signed for Spurs from Southampton over the summer in a deal that has seen him earn close to 35 million Kenya Shillings per month, a deal which Wanyama is slowly but steadily repaying with his performances on the pitch.

Wanayma was signed as a backup to Eric Dier and was not expected to see much game time, but in Dier’s injury absence Wanyama has stepped into the team seamlessly; he has not missed a single beat and hea has been stellar week in week out. His performances have helped Spurs to a second place position in the Premier League, one point behind leaders Manchester City and one point ahead of fierce rivals Arsenal.
