sarahSarah Hassan, the sexy, sassy & accomplished celebrity is no stranger to TV. Famous for acting, hosting and modeling, she is one of Kenya’s top entertainment industry personalities.

Sarah was born on 5th September 1988 (she’s twenteh fai), in the coastal shores of Mombasa. A JKUAT graduate, she attended Machakos Girls a.k.a. Mac Gee for her secondary education where she sat for her KCSE in 2006. It was during this time, she discovered her love for acting. Her passion for all things theatrical was so great, that she was even appointed Entertainment Prefect.

One of her most memorable high skool moments was when she was crowned Miss Mac Gee. What was unforgettable about her achievement is that she actually entered the competition just for fun (like she didn’t know she was hot).

Sarah, being good in Mathematics, later attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology for her higher level of education, where she majored in Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science. Eish!

tasSince her debut on Tahidi High, she has warmed her way into many people’s hearts. Her calm and collected nature and character are what make her stand out. With her alluring looks and style to boot, she has established herself as a fashion icon. Her radiant smile and charming personality are a perfect match to her style choice of clothing. There’s absolutely no doubt Sarah is nothing short of stunning, and her personality as a fashionista continues to grow. Behind her radiant fashion is an iconic, homegrown designer, Wambui Mukenyi.

Sarah Hassan’s principal role model is her supportive mother Lucian who has inspired her to be who she is today. In addition, her ultimate desire is to be successful and eventually win an Oscar. Clearly, her dreams are valid 🙂

Contrary to what many think, Sarah Hassan is actually a Christian. She gets her surname from her father, who is Muslim. Lucian, her mother, is Christian.

Her secret to success, “Believe in yourself and in God. Take your particular role seriously by doing research about your specific character, listen to your director, follow instructions, be ready to learn. And most of all, never give up!”

She is definitely a role model to many young ladies.
