When it comes to architecture, Dubai is on another level. We already have the world’s tallest building from Dubai, but if you thought that was enough, you were wrong. A rotating tower that has been under construction since 2008 is almost done, with only three years to go.
The Dynamic Tower Hotel will be the first rotating skyscraper ever, with 80 stories and units built on separate floors to enable them rotate separately. It will also be self powered through turbines (79 turbines in each floor) and solar panels hence there won’t be dependence on any external power service provider.
The building units will be using a voice-command activated system that will see residents do the controlling at their own pleasure. The tower was proposed by an Israeli-Italian architect David Fisher.
And guess how much it will cost, a whooping £355million!
